Born and bred in Mildura, Luke completed his schooling at Chaffey Secondary College and the Mildura Senior College before undertaking and graduating from La Trobe University, Mildura with a Bachelor of Business in December 2005. Luke majored in Accounting and joined DHM Partners upon completion of his degree.

At university Luke took a keen interest in subjects such as Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management as well as excelling in the usual Accounting and Taxation subjects. It is here that Luke took a keen interest in business management and coaching and has led him to taking on the role in DHM Partners as the champion of our new business advisory arm and implementing our new "Should I Do It? Biz decisions" service package. With this package Luke can provide you with all the information business owners need in order to make decisions about the future direction of their business with a particular emphasis on how to generate more cash and keep it on hand.

Luke is currently completing his CPA studies and is an associate member of the Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia. Luke recently attended the CPA congress held in Melbourne with many other CPA members and learnt valuable skills and gained insight into various area's of business advisory including how to measure and implement KPI's in an organisation and how to implement a balanced scorecard to achieve business objectives. Under Brett and Rob's guidance, Luke looks forward to opportunities over the next few years and beyond to expand his knowledge in these areas and help DHM Partners better service their clients needs.

In the future, Luke plans to complete his CPA studies over the next two years and go on to commence a Master in Taxation in order to better service his own client's and stay up to date with the always evolving tax system here in Australia.

Away from work, Luke has been involved on the committee's of Mildura Settlers Cricket Club, Eagles Baseball Club and the Sunraysia Baseball League, highlighted by serving two years as Eagles Baseball Club President. Luke would love to win a senior premiership with each of his clubs before he gets too old and slow and gives away.
